Mehdi Sabraoui

Mehdi Sabraoui is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as vCISO at Shardeum Foundation since November 2022. With a strong background in research engineering at Tenable from September 2019 to October 2022, Mehdi contributed to advancing cybersecurity measures. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisville, from May 2017 to August 2019, responsibilities included developing cybersecurity curricula for law enforcement and engaging students through innovative virtual labs. Mehdi's technical expertise includes software development and security consulting at Kindred Healthcare and IT consulting at IGear Online, LLC. As a Graduate Researcher at the University of Louisville, significant contributions were made in securing communication protocols for embedded systems. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, respectively, all from the University of Louisville.
