Carolyn Wait Vega

Carolyn Wait Vega, MPH, RD, serves as the Associate Director of Policy Analysis at Share Our Strength, where experience includes roles as Senior Program Manager and Program Manager for the Center for Best Practices. Previously, Carolyn worked within the DC Government as a Program Specialist for the Child and Adult Care Food Program, focusing on regulatory compliance, training, and nutrition education. Leadership roles include serving as President and President-Elect for various dietetic associations, where responsibilities encompassed managing board activities, implementing policies, and organizing events. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from The Ohio State University.
