Karen Barr

Karen Barr is a seasoned nonprofit leader with extensive experience in fundraising and supporter engagement. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Individual Giving at Share Our Strength since June 2023, Karen oversees a team dedicated to developing multi-year fundraising strategies to achieve critical revenue goals. Prior to this role, Karen spent over two decades at Save the Children US, advancing through positions from Financial/Marketing Analyst to Managing Director of Supporter Acquisition & Retention. During this tenure, Karen directed strategies to enhance supporter experiences and maximize donor revenue, contributing to significant annual fundraising success. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University.
