Rik Martens

Rik Martens is an accomplished architect and partner currently serving as a member of the Adviescommissie Ruimtelijke Kwaliteit since January 2019, and as an architect at Martens Willems & Humblé architecten since September 2017. In addition, Rik has been involved with SharePeople Crowdsurance as a member of the Sharepeople Coöperatie since January 2021. Previously, Rik was a partner at Humblé Martens / Architectuur & Stedelijk Ontwerp from December 2011 to September 2017, and held various teaching roles at the Maastricht Academy of Architecture from 2003 to 2017, including guest teacher and interim dean-team member. Additional experience includes leadership in the Stad.Academie program and architectural positions at Humble Architecten BV, University of Siegen, Marx en Steketee Architecten, and Jo Janssen Architecten. Rik Martens earned a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Eindhoven University of Technology from 1995 to 2001.
