Adam Kunikowski

Adam Kunikowski has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Their most recent position was as the Backend Engineer Lead at Shares starting in February 2022. Prior to that, Adam worked at Digital New Agency, where they held various roles. As a Software Engineer, they contributed to the development of a mixed-genre game for Android and iOS, designed architecture, and implemented it within a short timeframe. Adam also worked on a Swedish fintech platform, focusing on integration with a bank and funds service provider, as well as creating a reliable double entry bookkeeping system. Additionally, they contributed to a platform connecting employers and candidates using mobile technologies.

Before their time at Digital New Agency, Adam worked at Bishop Holding, where they served as a Full-stack Developer. Here, they rewrote a service using Spring and Thymeleaf and integrated with cloud solutions. Adam also worked on the crowdfunding finance system and automated back-office modules, including integration with the Exact accounting system. Additionally, Adam took on the responsibility of opening a new office as a branch manager.

Prior to Bishop Holding, Adam worked at Capital Circle, where they had a significant role as an Architect and Full-stack Developer. Adam was responsible for designing a crowdfunding platform, making architectural decisions, and leading the development process.

Adam also gained experience as a Java Web Developer at Firmao CRM, where they implemented an SMS module and integrated it with an external message provider. Additionally, they worked at Comarch as a Junior Java Web Developer, maintaining and implementing new features on two platforms.

Adam Kunikowski has a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Software Engineering, and Data Analysis from Lodz University of Technology, which was obtained from 2009 to 2013. Adam then pursued a Postgraduate cycle in Computer Science at the same university in 2013 before transferring to the University of Crete in 2014 for further studies. There, they completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from 2014 to 2016.
