Jean-Charles Malpel has worked in the financial services industry since 2007. Jean-Charles's current role is Interest Rate Derivatives Modelling Quant at BNY Mellon since 2021. Prior to that, they were Co-Founder of ShareVision since 2020. From 2015 to 2020, they were Team Leader - Interest Rate Derivatives - Restructuring at Barclays Investment Bank. From 2013 to 2015, they were Interest Rate Derivatives - Structuring at HSBC. From 2012 to 2013, they were Interest Rate Derivatives - Trading at BRED Banque Populaire. From 2011 to 2012, they were Structured product & Equity Derivatives - Sales at HSBC. From 2007 to 2010, they were Associate - Technical Analyst - Equity Index and Forex at LIST - Agence IAT. In 2010, they were Broker Assistant at Directa Sim. In 2009, they were Team Manager at ofup. In 2008, they were Trader Assistant at National Futures.

Jean-Charles Malpel began their educational journey in 2007 when they completed their Baccalauréat at Lycée Buffon with a specialization in Math. Jean-Charles then went on to pursue a Deug at Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) in Economie - Parcours Scientifique from 2007-2009. Jean-Charles continued their studies at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, earning a Licence in Economie Appliquée in 2009-2010 and a Master's degree in Ingénierie Financière in 2010-2011. Jean-Charles then attended ESLSCA, where they obtained an MBA in Trading Finance et Négoce internationale - Pole Trading from 2011-2012. Finally, they completed a Certification in Bloomberg Essentials Training Program concentration in Fixed Income, Forex, Equity and Commodity at Bloomberg in 2012.
