Sharjah Art Foundation
Maria Kalaiji is an experienced architect and production coordinator currently serving at Sharjah Art Foundation since October 2017. Previously, Maria held positions as an architect at EDGE from January 2015 to October 2017, and as an architectural intern at Buettner Architects in August 2014, where responsibilities included designing bridge concepts and preparing tender and facade drawings. Maria also gained valuable experience as a student assistant at the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at the American University of Sharjah from June 2011 to June 2014, where skills in office support and event organization were developed. Additionally, an architectural internship at Ali Moosa Contracting Company involved preparing as-built and schematic design drawings. Maria holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Sharjah and is pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Design of the Built Environment at The British University in Dubai.
