Nada Ammagui

Curatorial Assistant at Sharjah Art Foundation

Nada Ammagui is a Curatorial Assistant at the Sharjah Art Foundation since January 2025, contributing to major curatorial projects including the Sharjah Biennial 16. Previously, Nada held several positions at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington from September 2021 to December 2024, starting as a Research Associate focused on politics, society, and culture, then advancing to Associate for Arts, Culture, and Social Trends, where research and programming on Gulf art and culture were overseen. Additional experiences include serving as an Exhibition Docent at the UAE Embassy in Washington, leading volunteer efforts at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, and conducting research as a Postgraduate Research Fellow at New York University Abu Dhabi, where geospatial studies of the Sharjah Biennial were conducted. Nada's educational background includes a Master's degree in Arab Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Arab Crossroads Studies from NYU Abu Dhabi.
