James Ayton

James Ayton is an accomplished Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering. Currently at SharkNinja since June 2022, James has held multiple roles including Advanced Development and Research and Development Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Special Projects Co-op at E Ink Corporation and positions at Northeastern University, where James served as a Peer Mentor and Mechanical Prototype Developer. James's work has involved facilitating community service engagement, building prototypes for art installations, and engaging in various research projects. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, complemented by secondary education from Rhinebeck Senior High School.
