Carmen Murphy

Carmen Murphy has extensive experience in community outreach and coordination, currently serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator at Sharon Towers since August 2015, where responsibilities include establishing partnerships and managing volunteer recruitment. Prior roles include serving as a Bachata Specialist and Assistant Dance Instructor at Charlotte Latin Dance LLC, where Carmen created class material and promoted events, and as a Community Relations Specialist at MotoGrafik, focusing on sponsorship and donation requests for Piedmont Medical Center. Carmen also held the position of Education Coordinator at MHI, overseeing education programs and managing events, and worked as a Sports Clerk at The Charlotte Observer, compiling sports scoreboards. An early career as an Executive Assistant at Otis Spunkmeyer involved designing presentations and analyzing sales data. Carmen holds a BA in Communications and European Studies from Queens University of Charlotte.
