Gavin Holland

Gavin Holland has a diverse work experience in the field of UX and design. Gavin is currently the Head of UX and Design at Sharp Gaming, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of UX at GEMS Education from November 2021 to January 2023. Gavin also held the position of Head of UX at THG from November 2020 to November 2021. Before that, Gavin served as the Head of Design at Sky Betting & Gaming from May 2019 to November 2020. Gavin has also worked at Capital One as a UX Manager from February 2017 to May 2019, and as a Senior UX Consultant (Contract) from November 2016 to February 2017. Additionally, Gavin has experience as the Head of Experience Design at DEPT® from June 2015 to November 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Experience Design at Code Computerlove from October 2013 to June 2015. Gavin began their career as the Digital Director at Clock Creative from August 2012 to October 2013. Gavin also has experience as the Creative Director and Owner of Freeman Holland Ltd from January 2008 to August 2012. Gavin started their career as a Creative Manager at Orange before taking on these leadership roles.

Gavin Holland attended Frederick Gough School from 1985 to 1990. Gavin then went on to John Leggott Sixth Form College from 1990 to 1992, where they pursued A Levels / AS Levels with a focus on Art/Art Studies. In 1992, they moved to North Lindsey College and completed a B-tec Art & Design program from 1992 to 1993. Finally, they attended Birmingham City University from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Visual Communication with a specialization in Graphic Design and New Media.
