Gary Phelps

Gary Phelps has extensive experience in the field of respiratory therapy and management, currently serving as the Manager of Pulmonary at Sharp HealthCare since August 2018. Prior to this role, Gary held various positions at Scripps Health from July 1992 to August 2018, including Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy and Manager of Respiratory Therapy, among others. Gary began the career at Rady Children's Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist and served in the US Navy as a Corpsman and Respiratory Therapist from June 1986 to June 1992. Gary's educational background includes a Master's degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Development and Advanced Patient Care from Grand Canyon University, along with certificates in Respiratory Care Therapy and Hospital Corpsman from the U.S. Naval School of Health Sciences.
