John de Graft-Johnson

John de Graft-Johnson, MD, FACS, currently serves as the Chief and Director of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto, where responsibilities include overseeing minimally invasive and robotic surgery practices. With extensive experience as a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon at Sharp HealthCare and prior roles at First California Physician Partners and The Permanente Medical Group, Inc., John has demonstrated a strong dedication to surgical excellence. Additionally, John served as a Medical Officer in the United States Navy for over 14 years. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University, and a degree in Business Administration and Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
