Rachael Cross

Rachael Cross has a strong background in radiation therapy, having worked as a Lead Radiation Therapist at Sharp HealthCare since June 2020. Prior to this role, they were a Radiation Therapist at the same company from June 2016 to June 2020. Rachael's expertise includes various radiation therapy techniques and equipment, as well as performing quality assurance on linear accelerators. Rachael is also experienced in patient education and side effect management. Before joining Sharp HealthCare, Rachael worked as a Radiation Therapist at UC San Diego Health from September 2015 to June 2016. Rachael began their career as a Radiation Therapy Assistant at Froedtert Hospital from June 2014 to July 2015. In addition to their work in healthcare, Rachael has experience as a Caregiver at HomeInstead Senior Care from May 2011 to August 2013.

Rachael Cross received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiation Therapist from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2015. Rachael also obtained additional certifications including the California Radiologic Technologist License from the State of California and the ARRT certification from the American Registory of Radiologic Technologists. Moreover, they are CPR/AED certified by the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
