Susan Stone

Susan Stone is the SVP & CEO of Sharp Coronado Hospital at Sharp. Susan has been in this role since April 2013. Prior to that, they were the Chief Nurse Officer and Vice President Patient Care at Sharp Memorial Hospital from August 2009 to April 2013. Before that, they were the Chief Nurse and Operating Officer at Sharp Coronado Hospital from July 2002 to August 2009.

Susan Stone has a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of San Diego and a Master's of Science in Nursing Clinical Nursing Specialist from the University of San Diego. Susan is certified by the American College of Healthcare Executives in FACHE and by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Nurse Executive, Advanced Certification NEA-BC.

They are on a team with Michael Reagin - SVP & Chief Information & Innovation Officer, Jim Nuckols - Chief Marketing Officer, and Melissa Hayden Cook - President & CEO, Sharp Health Plan. Susan Stone reports to Christopher D. Howard, President & CEO.
