Tara Coleman

Tara Coleman is an experienced Occupational Therapist II and Lymphedema Therapist at Sharp HealthCare since December 2015. Additionally, Tara serves as a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Phoenix Molecular Designs and is a council member for the RISE initiative at the Young Survival Coalition. Previous roles include participation in the ATHENA Advisory Council at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, leadership as President and Owner of Accessibility Advisors, and representation on the IRB Community at University of California San Diego and La Jolla VA. Tara's career includes work as an Occupational Therapist at Ability Rehabilitation and Sharp Memorial Rehabilitation Center, as well as experience with the UK National Health Service. Tara holds a BS and MA in Medical Sciences and Occupational Therapy from Touro University and is a graduate of the Project LEAD program, while also engaging in ongoing professional development through research advocacy courses.
