Ed Sugiyama is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications field. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Sharp Laboratories of America since September 2000, Ed specializes in executing US interoperability tests for foreign handsets and conducting reverse engineering of cellular devices for performance comparison and intellectual property investigation. Prior to this role, Ed held positions as a Firmware Developer at Micro Systems Engineering Inc. from 1998 to 2000 and as a Software Developer at Alliance Instruments from 1996 to 1998. Ed Sugiyama is an alumnus of the University of Washington.
