Shawn Carr

Shawn Carr is the founding principal at Sharp Notions, a position they have held since January 2018. Prior to this, they were a founding partner at Sharp Notions LLC from April 2008 to January 2018. From June 2009 to December 2010, Shawn served as the director of technology at FocalPop, where they managed development, servers, and databases. Shawn also worked as a software developer consultant at Croop-LaFrance from January 2008 to December 2011, where they assisted in the Global Software Project. In addition, Shawn was a Sr. Software Developer at OutServ, Inc from July 2004 to June 2005, where they were one of a few developers whose goal was to design and produce software for internal use to increase productivity. Finally, Shawn served as an IT Manager at Tarware, Inc from June 2004 to September 2009.

Shawn Carr holds a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. They are certified in Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker Certified Associate from Docker, Inc, Google Analytics and Google Mobile Sites from Google, and MCSD: Web Applications from Microsoft.
