Dave O'Dea

Dave O'Dea has a diverse work experience with a focus on software engineering and web development. Dave is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at SharpenCX. Prior to this, Dave held the position of Head of Product Engineering at Octopus CX - By WEBTEXT and also worked as a Software Engineering Lead and Software Engineer at the same company. Before joining Octopus CX, Dave was self-employed as a Web Developer, overseeing the development of web projects and managing online presence. Dave also has previous experience as a Technical Advisor at Apple.

Dave O'Dea started their education journey in 2014 at the University of Galway, where they pursued a Diploma in Science, Engineering, and IT. Dave completed this program in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Dave deferred their studies in Computer Science at the same institution, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. After a brief gap, in 2018, they attended the Code Institute to further enhance their skills in Computer Software Engineering. Dave successfully completed the Full Stack web development program in 2019.
