Viljami Ruohonen

Viljami Ruohonen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Data Specialist at Sharper Shape Inc., where they focused on quality assurance of digital twin power line inspections and data analysis. Viljami utilized various tools such as Terrascan, LAStools, and Cloud Compare for LiDAR analysis, inspection, and classification.

Prior to that, Viljami worked at the Finnish Transport Agency as an Inspector in 2018. In 2015, they were a Project Assistant at Gaia Consulting Oy, where they supported projects in that role. In 2014, they worked as a GIS-teacher at the University of Antananarivo and as an Intern at the Institute For The Conservation of Tropical Environments, where they analyzed field data and made maps using GIS tools.

Additionally, Viljami has prior experience as a Vuokratyöläinen at VMP Group in 2011 and as an Office Assistant at The Finnish Nature League from 2009 to 2010. As an Office Assistant, they handled various tasks related to the day-to-day functioning of the office, such as mailing, booking, events, material orders, and website updating.

Viljami Ruohonen began their education at Töölön yhteiskoulun lukio, where they obtained their high school diploma between 2007 and 2009. Viljami then pursued higher studies at the University of Helsinki, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Physical geography from 2011 to 2014. Continuing their educational journey, Viljami completed a Master's degree in Physical Geography at the University of Helsinki from 2014 to 2016.
