Jacob Powers

Jacob Powers is a Social Studies Teacher at Morgantown High School, teaching World Studies & Psychology. Jacob is also the Head Football Coach at Morgantown Middle Mohigans Football and an Assistant Wrestling Coach for South and Suncrest Middle Schools. Additionally, Jacob serves as a Transition Teacher at South Middle School supporting various subjects. Prior to their current roles, Jacob worked as a Special Education Teacher at Berkeley County Schools, a Youth Service Worker at the WV Department of Health and Human Resources, and held positions at West Virginia University and the State of West Virginia. Jacob is currently pursuing an Accelerated Certification in Teaching at Wheeling University, with previous degrees in Integrated Marketing Communications and Political Science and Government.
