Tony Erskine

Tony Erskine has extensive professional experience, beginning with their role as a Science Teacher at Fair Oaks Academy from 2002 to 2004. Tony then served as a Team Leader and Instructor in the US Army from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they began working as a Senior Software Developer at Liberty University, where they designed and developed Java web applications, supervised the hiring and training of new software developers, and helped transition the organization to agile software development. In 2013, they took on a Technical Presenter role at SpringSource, where they presented a webinar equipping technical leaders to lead a software organization through the process of adopting new technologies. Since 2014, they have been working as a Founder and Principal Engineer at both CloudCard and SharpTop Company, where they have designed and built custom web and mobile apps, developed a single sign-on portal, and implemented Odoo (OpenERP).

Tony Erskine earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from William & Mary between 1996 and 2000. Tony also holds certifications as a Spring Web Application Developer from SpringSource, obtained in May 2013; a Spring Professional (Core Spring 3.0) from SpringSource, obtained in November 2012; and ITIL v3 Foundations, obtained in 2010.
