Mr. Germano has been the CEO of SCHC since 1992 and has over 30 years of healthcare management experience. He holds a Master of Health Science Degree and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Germano is pastBoard President of the California Primary Care Association and now Board Emeritus with CPCA. In addition, he is the past Chair of the Shasta County Public Health Advisory Board and was a member and past Chair of the Golden Umbrella and SeniorNutrition Centers (Dignity Health Affiliates) Advisory Board in redding, CA. Mr. Germano is also a past Chair and current member of the Health Alliance of Northern California (HANC), representing Federally Qualified Health Centers in this region. Mr. Germano has assembled an expert team to advance ShastaCommunity Health Center within the often-tumultuous changes in the health care system. He has been integral in expanding the health center from the capital development necessary to establish all the current sites to expanding services for the underserved populations of the rural service area.
