Issac is an experienced Founder/CEO having created and sold multiple enterprise software companies. He created Red Hat OpenShift, IBM’s API Management offering and CA’s integrated End-to-End APM product. He was Founder/CEO of Makara (acquired: RHAT) and StrongLoop (acquired: IBM.) As partner at Shasta Ventures he invests in enterprise infrastructure software and currently manages investments in CodeFresh, Scalyr, Beautiful.ai, Quartz.co, Hasty.ai and several unannounced ventures.

Prior to Shasta his angel investments include CircleCI, Reciprocity Labs, Cloudability (acquired: APTI), Trigger.io (Acquired: SQ), Iodine (Acquired: GDRX), Medal NLP (Acquired: Ciox Health), Cloud9 (Acquired: AMZN), and he is an advisor to Switchboard Software, SkyGiraffe (Acquired: NOW), Luminix and Metabase.

Issac was part of the early Wily Technology team whose alumni founded New Relic and AppDynamics and was a networking software engineer at Cisco Systems. His degree is from Stanford University in Multimedia Design & Technology.
