Rose Kelly

Rose joined Shasta Ventures in July 2018 as Controller. Prior to Shasta, Rose was a manager in KPMG’s Bay Area asset management practice. She has over 6 years of audit experience for private companies with a focus on asset management clients. She specializes in the alternative investment industry, predominately serving hedge fund, venture capital, and private equity. Rose has helped support fund admin with reviewing private equity financial statements through KPMG’s advisory practice. Rose was previously an associate at Rothstein Kass. Prior to Rothstein Kass, Rose worked at a regional firm in Santa Barbara specializing in personal and partnership taxation.

Rose earned a Bachelor of Science in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California Santa Barbara. She is a CPA in California and a member of the AICPA. Rose is actively involved in Help for Children charity events.
