Anne Lai has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Anne is currently working at Shattuck Labs as the Associate Director of Research and Development. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Scientist in the same company. Before joining Shattuck Labs, Anne worked at Locus Biosciences as a Principal Scientist. Anne also has experience at G1 Therapeutics, where they served as a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist in the Translational Medicine department. Previously, Anne worked at Q2 Solutions EA Genomics as a Scientist in Translational Genomics. Anne started their career as a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, where they conducted research on epigenetic mechanisms in B cell differentiation and lymphomagenesis. Anne holds a graduate degree from Duke University, where they studied hematopoiesis and lineage commitment. Anne also worked at SurroMed, Inc. as an Assistant Scientist and gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Apprentice at UCSF.
Anne Lai completed their Ph.D. in Immunology from Duke University between 2002 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, between 1996 and 2000.
