Usman Rashid

Usman Rashid is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Deputy Manager at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre since March 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Manager Media & Communication at the same institution and Communications Officer at Pink Ribbon Pakistan and White Ribbon, where advocacy and lobbying for gender equality initiatives were key responsibilities. Usman also worked as a Communications Officer for the International Committee of the Red Cross, where Usman led communication capacity building programs in the Punjab province. Usman holds a Master of Communication Studies with a focus on Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, and Advertising, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs, both from the University of the Punjab.
