Lorna Henderson has a comprehensive and extensive work experience in the field of wigs and make-up. Lorna began their career as an apprentice in the Wig Department at Mirvish Productions, where they learned various aspects of wig application, care, and making. Lorna then joined Live Entertainment as part of the wig department crew for "Phantom of the Opera" before becoming the Head of Wigs for "Show Boat," "Sunset Boulevard," and the original company of "Ragtime." In 1993, they joined Live Entertainment Productions as the Production Head of Wigs for the US National Tour of "Ragtime." Lorna also worked as the Assistant Production Wig Coordinator for the same show. From 2001 to 2017, Lorna worked as a Senior Wig Maker at The Stratford Shakespearean Festival, where they undertook various responsibilities such as wig making, design realization, hair cutting, and show coordination. Currently, Lorna is the Head of Wigs and Make-up at the Shaw Festival.
Lorna Henderson's education history includes attending Marvel Hairdressing Academy from 1991 to 1992, where they studied Hairdressing. Before that, they attended Seneca Polytechnic from 1988 to 1990, specializing in Cosmetic Retail Management.
