Robert Cherry

Robert joined the Shaw healthcare board in April 2022, bringing experience gained through a 30-year career in corporate law. He is recognised by both Chambers and Legal 500 as a leading individual in his field. Having spent his early career in London, he returned to Wales in 1995, becoming a partner in Blake Morgan LLP in 2001 and a Board Member in 2011. He retired from Blake Morgan LLP as a partner in May 2021 but remains a consultant to the firm. He has a particular expertise in social care sector acquisitions and has advised Shaw healthcare on corporate matters for some years, including on its becoming an employee-owned company in 2020. He is also a Non-Executive Director of a non-care sector company called Bluecap Resources Ltd.
