Chris Yarbrough

Chris Yarbrough has extensive experience in the carpet and textile industries, currently serving as the Director of Carpet Technology & Performance in Research and Development at Shaw Industries since December 2012. Prior to this role, Chris held various positions at Shaw Industries, including Director of Technical Development. Previous experience includes over a decade at Mohawk Industries in roles such as Corporate Research and Development Manager and Director of BCF Fiber Extrusion Operations, along with significant positions at Aladdin Mills, Inc., starting from Department Manager of Finishing to graphic artist roles. Chris began the career trajectory at Auburn University as a Laboratory Research Assistant in the Textile Engineering Department and holds a Bachelor of Textile Management & Technology from Auburn University, along with prior education in Pre-Engineering from Dalton State College.
