Iain Aird

Iain Aird has over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. Iain began their career in 1997 as an Information Technology Consultant at OM-Technologies, where they worked until 2002. Iain then moved on to EDF (UK) as an Information Technology Software Developer until 2004. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Information Technology Consultant, focusing on the design and build of Cash Management and Trading applications. Iain then joined Barclays Investment Bank as an Application Support Analyst, providing 2nd and 3rd line support for back-office trading systems. Since 2015, they have been working at Shawbrook Bank as a Software Engineering Lead, overseeing the development and support of public-facing web-based savings applications.

Iain Aird holds a Bachelor of Arts - BA Hons degree in Business/Economics from Glasgow Caledonian University. Iain has obtained various certifications including PSM I (Professional Scrum Master Level I) from Scrum.org in 2020, Azure Fundamentals Certification from Microsoft in 2020, ITIL Service Strategy (ITIL-SS) from QA Ltd in 2019, and ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2016.
