Oliver Sutton

Oliver Sutton is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on commercial loans and asset-based lending. Currently serving as Director at Shawbrook Bank since May 2019, Oliver engages with businesses, accountants, advisors, and private equity in the Midlands and South East. Prior roles include Corporate Sales Director at Close Brothers Invoice Finance and Business Development Director at RBS Asset Based Lending, where Oliver specialized in identifying ABL funding opportunities. Earlier career experience includes a lengthy tenure at GE Capital in various roles, culminating as Regional Director, where Oliver focused on funding working capital through structured asset-based lending solutions. Oliver holds a BA (Hons) in Law and Economics from the University of Leicester and a Lending Diploma as a Chartered Banker.
