Paul Asare-Archer

Paul Asare-Archer serves as the Group Chief Compliance Officer & MLRO at Shawbrook since January 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing compliance functions. Additionally, Paul holds positions on the Advisory Board and as a Postgraduate Diploma Tutor for the International Compliance Association since February 2018. As of January 2024, Paul is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for England Boxing Ltd. Previous roles include Head of Compliance, DPO, Privacy & MLRO at Virgin Media O2 from July 2021 to December 2022, and Director of Compliance & MLRO at O2 (Telefónica UK) from April 2012 to July 2021. Paul's early career also includes senior compliance management at Bank of Ireland and auditing at the Legal Services Commission and Deloitte. Educational qualifications include a Law degree from The University of Manchester and an MBA from Westminster Business School.
