Jennifer Schindl has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Jennifer currently serves as the Chief Director of Social Services at Shawnee Health Service. Prior to this, they were a member of the Women's Board at the Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo. Jennifer also held the position of Vice President of Clinical Programs and Quality Assurance at Community Support Services, Inc. where they managed a range of programs for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Jennifer worked as a Clinical Investigator/Monitor at Equip for Equality, advocating for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Jennifer served as the Director of Residential & Day Programs at Garden Center Services and worked as an Executive Search Specialist at Human Service Connections. Jennifer'searly career included the role of Associate Director of Program Services at Sertoma Centre, where they managed program operations and secured grant funding.
Jennifer Schindl earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Elmhurst University. Jennifer later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Counseling Psychology from Benedictine University.

Shawnee Health Service is a comprehensive, coordinated network of community health centers and services located throughout Jackson and Williamson Counties. Shawnee provides Integrated Primary Medical and Behavioral Health care, including Addiction Medicine, Counseling, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, and Same Day. In addition, we provide Behavioral Health Care, Nutrition/Dietary Counseling, OB/GYN Care, and Weight Management. We also provide both General and Pediatric Dentistry. Shawnee currently has nine medical providers, seven dentists, and sixteen mid-levels providers. Since our beginning in 1971, Shawnee Health Service and Development Corporation has fostered the development of health and social services in southern Illinois.
