Mike Bass

Mike Bass has extensive experience in both military and educational settings. Serving as a Recon scout in the US Army, Mike transitioned into the education sector, joining Shawnee Heights USD 450 in August 1989 as a special education teacher specializing in Social Studies. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Emporia State University (2013-2017), a Master’s Degree in Education from Baker University (2010-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Kansas State University (1980-1984).
