Lila Akrad

Lila Akrad has a diverse work experience in various companies. Lila started their career as an Associate at Zarley McKee Thomte Voorhees & Sease in 2001, where they worked until 2007. During this time, they also worked as an Intellectual Property Attorney at McKee, Voorhees & Sease, PLC from 2001 to 2007.

In 2007, Lila joined POET as an Intellectual Property Attorney until 2008. Lila then moved on to DuPont Pioneer, where they served as an Intellectual Property Counsel from 2008 to 2010 and later as a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel from 2008 to 2013.

In 2015, Lila founded Lacey & Anne Jewelry Design and worked as the Founder & Designer. Lila still holds this position.

From 2016 to the present, Lila has been working at SHAZAM Network - ITS, Inc. Lila started as a Corporate Attorney and was later promoted to Senior Corporate Attorney & IP Counsel. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President Corporate & IP Counsel.

In addition to their professional roles, Lila also served as a Board member at the William L. Brown Center starting from 2006.

Lila Akrad has a diverse education history. Lila first attended The University of Kansas from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organismal Biology. Following this, they pursued their interest in veterinary medicine at the Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine from 1995 to 1997, obtaining a degree in Veterinary Medicine with a focus on exotics, particularly aquatics. Lila later attended Vermont Law and Graduate School from 1998 to 2001, earning a Juris Doctor degree in Law.
