Matt McConnell

Matt McConnell has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matt started their career at the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines as a Marketing Intern, where they focused on writing content, creating presentations, and managing social media. Matt then interned at the Principal Charity Classic presented by Wells Fargo, gaining experience in sales, marketing, and event management. Matt later worked as a Loan Counselor at Aspire Resources, providing counseling and assistance to college graduates. Matt then joined the Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club as a Pro Coach, before transitioning to ChildServe as a Writer/Public Relations Specialist, where they told stories about the organization and managed interns. Currently, Matt works at SHAZAM Network - ITS, Inc. as a Corporate Communications Specialist, leading the communications team and overseeing the development and maintenance of corporate communication products.

Matt McConnell attended Bondurant-Farrar High School from 2005 to 2008. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from Grand View University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
