Marguerite L. Pierce

Marguerite L. Pierce has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marguerite is currently working as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Marguerite L. Matters Inc, a digital health platform focused on supporting Black mothers experiencing postpartum comorbidities. In addition to providing access to healthcare providers and resources, Marguerite L. Matters also offers cultural competency training for healthcare professionals.

Prior to their current role, Marguerite worked as a Life Coach, Moderator, Facilitator, and Speaker at Marguerite Pierce, Life Coach since 2014. Here, they coached clients on minimizing negative self-talk and facilitated workshops and panels on various topics related to personal growth and development.

Marguerite also has experience in the corporate sector, specifically at Glass, Lewis & Co. where they held multiple roles. Marguerite L. served as a Senior Director, Director, Manager, Supervisor, and Senior Client Service Manager in the Client Services department between 2008 and 2022.

Before joining Glass, Lewis & Co., Marguerite worked as a Marketing Consultant at Duval Group (formerly known as E&L International). In this role, they focused on showcasing exclusive modern furniture and coordinated marketing efforts through television and radio commercials, as well as distributing marketing materials.

Marguerite began their career as an Operations Manager at SITC, INC, where they managed day-to-day operations from 2003 to 2006.

Marguerite L. Pierce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management of Information Systems from the New York Institute of Technology. Marguerite L. obtained this degree at an unknown time.

In 2013 to 2014, Marguerite attended iPEC Coaching where they earned a Life Coach Certification in Professional Coaching.

Marguerite also holds additional certifications. In September 2015, they obtained a certificate in Positive Psychology from Coursera Course Certificates. In October 2014, Marguerite obtained a Professional Coach certification from iPEC Coaching, and in December 2016, they earned an Associate Certified Coach certificate from the International Coach Federation.
