Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Engineering Science from Mohawk Valley Community College in 2010. Ashley then pursued further education and completed a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering at Clarkson University in 2015.

Before their college education, Ashley attended Whitesboro High School from 2003 to 2008, where they completed their high school education.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ashley has also obtained professional certifications. In 2018, they became a Professional Engineer through the institution NCEES. Two years later, in 2020, they acquired the Colorado Certified Water Professional (CCWP) Water Treatment Operator Class D certification from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
