Moses Kaguo

Moses Kagua has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2007, Kagua worked as an Assistant Internal Auditor (Internship) at CRDB BANK PLC. MOSES then moved on to Ernst & Young, where they worked as an Assistant Auditor from 2008 to 2009. Following that, Kagua joined the Tanzania Revenue Authority as an Assistant Custom Officer from 2009 to 2011. In 2013, they served as a Buy Side Analyst for the STUDENT MANAGED FUND – BGSU.

In 2014, Kagua began their career at Shearer's Snacks, where they held various roles over the years. MOSES started as a Financial Analyst - FP&A, assisting the FP&A Director in budgeting processes and integration tasks. MOSES then took on the role of Sr. Financial Analyst - FP&A from December 2016 to April 2017. In May 2017, they became a Finance Supervisor - FP&A, where they contributed to standardizing part setup and product costing processes. From February to December 2018, Kagua served as the Manager - FP&A, leading the parts setup and product costing team and supporting budgeting processes.

In 2019, Kagua was promoted to Plant Finance Manager at Shearer's Snacks and made significant contributions to the site's financial performance. MOSES was a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Board and was recognized for their outstanding contributions to the finance team.

In 2021, Kagua joined Ingersoll Rand as the Global Operations Finance Manager - Power Tools & Lifting Technology. MOSES worked in this role until February 2023 when they transitioned to their current position as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Shearer's Foods.

Overall, Kagua has demonstrated extensive experience in finance and analysis, with a strong background in budgeting, financial forecasting, and performance optimization.

Moses Kaguo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University in the years 2005 to 2008. MOSES then pursued a Master's degree in MBA with a concentration in Finance from Bowling Green State University from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Moses obtained ACCA Certification from ACCA in 2012 and passed all three levels of CFA Exams from CFA Institute, completing the final level in 2016. In 2022, they obtained a certification in Data Storytelling Basics from LinkedIn.
