Peter Hooper

Peter Hooper has a diverse work experience in the geophysical industry, starting in 1996 as Chief Seismic Navigator/Seismic Navigator at Digicon Geophysical/Veritas DGC. Peter then worked at Geoconsult AS as a Party Manager/Senior Surveyor/Surveyor, specializing in offshore operations. In 2003, they became the Operations Manager/Operations Supervisor at Mulitiwave Geophysical Company AS. From 2006 to 2008, they served as the Senior Vice President Operations & Co-Founder at Wavefield Inseis ASA. Hooper then co-founded EXS Subsea AS in 2009, where they served as the GM and co-founder. In 2010, they joined Dolphin Geophysical AS as VP Operations and later became the COO. Currently, they are the Chief Commercial Officer at Shearwater GeoServices, where they previously served as the Chief Operating Officer.

Peter Hooper completed their education with a Honours Degree in Marine and Fisheries Biology from the University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen, UK, from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geology at The Kings School Tynemouth, UK, from 1981 to 1991. Peter also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Hydrographic Surveying from the University of Plymouth, Plymouth, UK, achieved in 1995-1996.
