Simon Bowler

Simon Bowler is an experienced Marine Seismic Observer with over 14 years in the field, currently serving as Shift Leader at Shearwater GeoServices since December 2016. Previously, Simon held the role of Installation Engineer at Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. and advanced to Lead Marine Seismic Observer at Dolphin Geophysical after starting as a Seismic Observer. Prior experience includes significant tenure at CGG and Wavefield Inseis, with a focus on specialist marine seismic equipment and working on international projects for major clients such as BP and Shell. Simon's career began in the British Army, where a decade-long service as an Electronics Technician involved management and engineering roles in challenging environments. Educational credentials include various engineering qualifications from the School of Electronic & Aeronautical Engineering.
