Tanya Herwanger

Tanya Herwanger has a comprehensive work experience in the oil, gas, and energy industry. Tanya currently holds the position of SVP Strategy & New Markets at Shearwater GeoServices. Prior to this, they served as a Non Executive Director at HydroGenesis. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Legal & ESG Consultant, providing in-house counsel services and ESG support to various companies. Tanya also has extensive experience at TGS, where they held multiple roles including EVP Staff & Support, Deputy General Counsel, VP for Africa & Middle East, Director of Sales and Business Development for AME, and Corporate Counsel. Additionally, Tanya has worked at SLB in various legal roles, including General Counsel, Compliance, Global Marine Legal Counsel (WesternGeco), Legal Counsel for NSA WesternGeco, and Contracts Manager.

Tanya Herwanger obtained an Executive MBA degree from Mannheim Business School in 2020. Tanya also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Skills (Bar Qualification) from City, University of London, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Queen Mary University of London. Furthermore, Tanya has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Belize. Tanya has additional certifications in Climate Related Financial Disclosures 101 & 102 and Scenario Analysis from the FSB Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
