Abdel-Karim al-Tamimi

Dr. Abdel-Karim Al-Tamimi, PhD, SFHEA, currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, where responsibilities include the development and delivery of advanced graduate and postgraduate modules and leading the subject group in creating high-quality online self-paced learning modules. As an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at Yarmouk University, Dr. Al-Tamimi teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, while also securing several national and international scientific grants. Previous roles include Program Team Leader at Higher Colleges of Technology, where Dr. Al-Tamimi developed and taught bachelor's courses in application development, networking, and cybersecurity, and a Data Science Consultant at T2, leading a multi-national team in machine learning projects. Educational credentials include a PhD and Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Yarmouk University.
