David Leon

David Leon is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in technology consulting and higher education. Currently serving as a Specialist Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University since February 2023, David has also held the position of Director at Synoptique Ltd. since July 2016 and at Nationwide Building Society from June 2018 to December 2020. Previously, David spent over two decades at Accenture, culminating in the role of Managing Director where responsibilities included leading Information & Analytics Strategy and overseeing technology consulting for products. Earlier career experience includes serving as an IT Manager at Fujitsu from 1989 to 1993. David holds a Master of Engineering degree with honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University, completed in 1989.
