Scott Lyon has extensive work experience in the field of privacy and legal counsel. Scott currently holds the position of Chief Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel - Privacy at SHEIN Distribution Corporation. Prior to that, they served as Deputy Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel - Privacy at the same company. Scott also has experience as the Director of Privacy and Product Counsel at Fast and as Vice-President and Senior Counsel on the Privacy Legal Team at Wells Fargo. Additionally, they have worked as Counsel at Michelman & Robinson, LLP, and as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel - Privacy, Technology & IP at Irvine Company. Scott Lyon has also worked as a Partner at Michelman & Robinson, LLP, and Sedgwick LLP. Scott started their career as an Associate at Zuckerman Spaeder LLP and Beam Miller & Rogers, PLLC.

Scott Lyon has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. Before that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from Vanderbilt University in 1999. Prior to their master's degree, Scott Lyon completed their undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree between 1995 and 1998.
