Leigh Gui

Leigh Gui is the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at SHEIN, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the CFO for VIPKid from May 2020 to February 2021. From January 2011 to May 2020, they were the CFO for eBay International CBT. And from January 2007 to December 2010, they were the CFO for eBay & PayPal Greater China. Leigh Gui began their finance career at PayPal China in January 2005, where they served as Head of Finance until December 2007. In this role, they were responsible for re-architecting the financial structure that underpinned the new China strategy, resulting in a dramatic turnaround from a ($11M) loss in 2006 to $10M net profit in 2007. Prior to their time at PayPal China, Leigh Gui worked as a Finance Manager at Dell from January 2003 to December 2004.

Leigh Gui has an MBA in Finance from the University of Toronto and an MA in Molecular Biology from Rice University.

They are on a team with Quist Huang - Director, Employee Experience Platform, Xu Hao - CTO, and Molly Miao - CMO. A direct report to Leigh Gui is and Jiang Chengcheng - Director, Finance Operations. Leigh Gui reports to Chris Xu, CEO.
