Director Of Visitor Experience And Learning at SHELBURNE MUSEUM INCORPORATED

Karen Petersen has had a diverse range of work experience in the museum and education field. Karen served as the Director of Visitor Experience and Learning at Shelburne Museum from an unknown start date in 2017 until present. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Education and Public Programs at Shelburne Museum from November 2007 onwards. Additionally, they were the Director of the Sullivan Museum and History Center at Norwich University from January 2006 to October 2007.

Karen Petersen attended Trinity College-Hartford where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Karen later enrolled at the University of Vermont to further their education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in American History.
