Katie Wood Kirchhoff is the Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Shelburne Museum, a position held since January 2016, following roles as curator and associate curator. Previous experience includes serving as Associate Program Manager for North America at Context Travel, Director & Curator of Historic Properties at Pilgrimage Garden Club, and various roles at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Department of the Interior, and Winterthur Museum. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Art History from the University of Delaware, an MA in American Material Culture from the Winterthur Program, a BA in Art History from Smith College, and a Certificate in Maritime Studies from the Williams-Mystic Program.
