Monica Timmerman

Monica Timmerman is an attorney with extensive experience in civil litigation and criminal law. Currently serving at the Shelby County District Attorney's Office since November 2022, Monica previously worked as an attorney at Bailey & Greer, PLLC from August 2012 to February 2013. Prior experience includes a role as a judicial clerk for the Shelby County Government, where Monica researched and wrote orders for the Criminal Court judges, and volunteer work with the MALS Legal Clinic, assisting indigent clients with pro se divorce cases. Additionally, Monica served as a law clerk for Judge Chris Craft during the Advanced Moot Court Competition. Monica earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where also a Bachelor of Arts in Communications was obtained.
